10 years ago my life changed.......

10 years ago today I went to the hospital a pregnant lady and came out a mom. I went to the hospital not knowing how drastically my life was going to change. I went to the hospital not knowing how much a mother can love a child. THAT ALL CHANGED.

10 years ago today I welcomed into my life a beautiful baby girl with a head full of black hair and letting the world know she had arrived. She came into this world not knowing how much she would mean to those she would meet. Not knowing how her mommy would take a bullet for her.

10 years ago today Craig and I became parents and that baby girl had us both wrapped around her finger. We cried, hugged, and glowed at the fact that we had this perfect baby girl and that she was ours.

10 years ago today the worry set in on how we were going to raise a baby and teach her everything she needs to know. We worried about skinned up knees, broken bones, bruised limbs and broken hearts. We worried about how we would show this beautiful baby just how much we love her.

As Brooklyn Rose turns 10 today I am saddened at the fact that she is on the other side of the state at church camp. Not sad because she is there but because I am not there with her, to celebrate her life and help her in her spiritual walk. I know she is in good hands but I MISS HER!!!! I thank God daily for the blessings He has given me in my children and has trusted me to raise them to be mighty children of God.

Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl. Double digits now and all the fun that comes along with that!!!

**I also have to wish Hunter Arnold (our cousin) a Happy 9th Birthday! Yes....he was born on Brooklyns birthday and after her party we had gone to the hospital to see Robb, Teresa, and baby Hunter. He is also at church camp too!!!
