Saturday night was the local zoo boo here in town and our church had a booth there to hand out bags of candy with a flyer about our children's ministries in it. We handed out over 1800 bags to kids and dressed up as the Flintstones. I truly love kids ministries and loved seeing all the kids there. We had a blast dancing with the kids, giving them candy, and handing out coffee to all the adults. It was funny because they could smell that coffee like bloodhounds!!!! Here are some pictures:

Friday night Craig and I spent the evening working in the yard around the house. The kids were enjoying the nice fall weather by playing in the leaves. It was nice to be home for the evening as the rest of our weekend we were hardly home at all!!! Saturday I went to Sioux Falls to help my sister move into her new apartment. I took the kids with me since daddy was getting ready to head to the fields, hunting that is. We got her moved and then went to Chuck E. Cheese for a reward to the kids for being so good. Anyone that knows me knows how much I love this place (notice the sarcasm?) and loved being there on a busy Saturday afternoon. We left Sioux Falls to head to the Arnold Farm for the big family hunt. Teresa did a wonderful job of hosting the event and we had more than enough food. If you went away hungry it was your own fault!!! Brooklyn's favorite part of the night was this:
She played with Ruby for the longest time and had her smiling away (although I couldn't get Ruby to smile in this picture) and probably would have stayed all night to help!!! She just adores Ruby and now thinks we need to adopt. I love Ruby lots too!!! As you can see, I got my snuggling time in with her too!!! I just love feeding babies and rocking them to sleep!!! I wonder if I could get a job like this?

Last night we took the kids to the pumpkin patch, FINALLY. We had wanted to go all weekend but it rained the entire time. So we froze our behinds off last night while looking for pumpkins. I love to watch the kids as they run around the patch in pure excitement looking for the perfect pumpkin. They look forward to this every year and I was afraid with the weather that we wouldn't make it. We have gone every year since Brooklyn was in preschool and just love it. The guy that does it wears all orange, drives a garden tractor with a trailer hooked up to the back and truly loves doing this. The pumpkins are pretty decent priced and the whole experience is what the kids love. As you can tell, they found a pretty good loot of pumpkins just waiting to be carved into smily faces!!! I love this time of year.

We had another wonderful fall weekend here in good ol' South Dakota. The weather has been just perfect lately and I wish it would last longer but we all know what is just lurking around the corner......no I won't say that nasty four letter word. Friday night we had our family movie night and just relaxed. Saturday morning I had to be to the high school at 6:45 to load the buses and head to Brookings for their college homecoming parade. Its was SO chilly that morning. We froze while marching but thankfully the sun was shining. Watertown took first place for their marching band and flag corps. After that we loaded the buses again and back to Watertown we went.
Once I got home I had to cruise out of the bus, load up my bus aka trailblazer. Craig and I dropped Cooper off at my mom and dad (Brooklyn was spending the weekend there), gas up the blazer, grab a sandwich and we were off to Brookings, AGAIN. We had tickets to the game that afternoon. We went with Bryon and Kristi and had a blast. The game went into 3 overtimes and SDSU ended up losing by 2 stinkin points. It was still fun but we were glad it was over. After the game the four of us headed back to Watertown for supper. We knew there would be nowhere to eat in Brookings since all the college kids and fans would be out and about so we decided to head home. It was a nice day and we ended it by having a bonfire with my mom and dad.
Sunday we didn't do ANYTHING. It was so nice! I actually was able to work on my scrapbooks some more and watch a movie. Craig and Cooper were supposed to go shoot paintballs with all the men and boys of our church but it got postponed since it rained all day yesterday. So they went off to do something else which left me home by myself. I enjoyed every minute of it!!!!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Back to the grind now.......
