Pumkin Patch 2008

Last night we took the kids to the pumpkin patch, FINALLY. We had wanted to go all weekend but it rained the entire time. So we froze our behinds off last night while looking for pumpkins. I love to watch the kids as they run around the patch in pure excitement looking for the perfect pumpkin. They look forward to this every year and I was afraid with the weather that we wouldn't make it. We have gone every year since Brooklyn was in preschool and just love it. The guy that does it wears all orange, drives a garden tractor with a trailer hooked up to the back and truly loves doing this. The pumpkins are pretty decent priced and the whole experience is what the kids love. As you can tell, they found a pretty good loot of pumpkins just waiting to be carved into smily faces!!! I love this time of year.

This was the first year we've taken the kids and despite the RAIN...they had a blast!

Great picture! I didn't even know there was anyone around here that does that. Grandma Sharon raises pumpkins and the kids get to go over there and pick theirs out...they both just did that on Monday.
